Welcome to the Lifestyle Business Magazine Podcast!
On this episode, you’ll meet our host Tyler Basu, Founder & Publisher of Lifestyle Business Magazine. Tyler discusses his journey as an entrepreneur, why he created a digital magazine and podcast about lifestyle entrepreneurship, and what it means to build a lifestyle business.
Like many other entrepreneurs before him, Tyler Basu’s journey in business began when he read a book called Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. Driven by his ambition, he spent his early twenties navigating his way through several different industries including financial planning, promoting seminars, direct sales, and selling real estate.
In 2013, while working full-time as a real estate agent, he launched his first podcast, Chatting With Champions. In the process of interviewing over 100 successful entrepreneurs for his podcast, he built the relationships and acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to begin building his own online business.
By 2015, Tyler had written and published several books on Amazon, including the #1 Amazon Bestseller Lifestyle Business Blueprint, and was regularly helping other entrepreneurs with their branding and content marketing strategy. In the summer of 2015, he left the real estate industry to focus on launching Lifestyle Business Magazine.
The Lifestyle Business Magazine Podcast is primarily an interview-based podcast. Tyler may occasionally do a solo episode to share specific updates or insights related to the growth of Lifestyle Business Magazine, but the standard format for each episode will be an in-depth interview with a lifestyle entrepreneur that we feature in our magazine.
The podcast is free to subscribe to and serves as a nice compliment to the magazine, especially for those of you who enjoy the convenience of audio content. You’ll get to hear directly from various lifestyle entrepreneurs, as we ask them to expand upon their journey as an entrepreneur and offer actionable insights to help you succeed. You can listen to the podcast will driving in your car, working out at the gym, walking your dog, or even while relaxing at home.
